There Is No Expiration Date on Becoming Who You Were Meant to Be

Jamila Kader
Jamila Kader has nearly two decades of experience supporting international organizations across East and West Africa and the United States. She has served leadership roles within global nonprofit institutions, overseeing multi-country budgets, strengthening compliance systems, and advancing financial accountability.
Her professional journey spans international development programs, U.S. national childcare initiatives, and university-level academic support — experiences that shaped her belief that sustainable impact requires both strong systems and strong people.
But Jamila’s work is not confined to spreadsheets and budgets.
Raised between cultures and deeply connected to West Africa, she witnessed firsthand the brilliance of artisans — particularly women — whose skills were extraordinary but whose economic opportunities were limited. She saw how poverty, illiteracy, and lack of access could silence potential. She also saw resilience, pride, and creativity that refused to disappear.
Bissikrima-Kabala is her response.
Through this brand, Jamila merges finance, social impact, and cultural storytelling to create a business model that reinvests in artisans, promotes global cultural appreciation, and contributes to long-term community empowerment.
Her mission is clear:
Create economic opportunity.
Preserve cultural identity.
Offer second chances.
And prove that it is never too late to level up and perform.
